SoundLink Max is IP67 rated, indicating it has passed rigorous testing conditions proving it will withstand an accidental drop into water up to approximately 3 feet (1 meter) deep for up to 30 minutes, or getting exposed to a dust storm. However, while SoundLink Max is protected against accidental exposures to water and dust, is not designed for playback when wet.
